The final volume of the collected works of Souborné dílo Jana Balabána, one of the most significant Czech authors of the last twenty years, culminates in a volume that brings together his journalistic texts. This area constitutes the least known yet equally fascinating part of Balabán's oeuvre. The author's incisive columns, which he wrote for the weekly Respekt between 2008 and 2010, have entered the broader public consciousness, but the interviews he gave and his numerous critiques of artistic works have remained somewhat overlooked.
