Listen and Speak With Friends! - slovníček (2017)

For the textbooks for the second period, a separate dictionary has been designed due to the larger vocabulary, but also to support active work with the dictionary. The words in the dictionary are organized according to the pages of individual lessons. They follow in the order in which they are presented in the textbook, allowing students to create an outline of the story based on their sequence. For each word, students will also find phrases in which the word is used, making it easier for them to translate the entire text, recall related words, expand their vocabulary, and learn to perceive the world in context. Additional useful phrases in which the words are commonly used are provided in parentheses – thanks to these, students improve their conversational skills. The dictionary also offers space for students to write down additional words they encountered within the topic being studied. In the 5th grade, the dictionary focuses on learning new words by incorporating them into phrases and sentences. For each word, students will find a sentence in the dictionary where the word is again presented in a practical phrase, but additionally, the sentence clarifies the meaning of the word. Students...
