Description
The Living Alphabet prepares students for future reading. It develops the senses necessary for reading, primarily visual and auditory perception, and introduces the first sounds and letters, reading open syllables, and the first two-syllable words composed of them. Various tasks practice and reinforce the necessary knowledge and skills, allowing space for individualization and self-assessment. A system of various symbols and signs aids quicker orientation and understanding of tasks. Even this first textbook that students encounter focuses on supporting reading comprehension in the simplest forms.
