The landscape of Moravian Kopanice, like other similar places, offers people a sense of freedom of body and spirit. This imprint is evident in every meadow, tree, forest, stream, spring, hill, and the view from it. Folk magic and superstition have been preserved here longer than elsewhere. Until the end of the 20th century, goddesses and folk wise women were present, helping people heal both body and mind. You will no longer find them in their original authentic form in Kopanice. There are efforts to revive ancient knowledge as a way to ensure the survival of human civilization. In this lies hope for the future. Perhaps that is why the nearly forgotten legend of the Žítkov goddesses has resurfaced. In this third part of the loose trilogy THE SECRET OF THE GODDESSES OF ŽÍTKOV and THE RETURN OF THE ŽÍTKOV GODDESSES, the author reflects on the legacy they left us and what today's person, who has stopped looking back at the past in the rush of the world, can take from their story, neglecting the phenomena that were part of our ancestors' lives.
