Description
Jaroslav Dušek, Pedro Inka and Pjér la Šé’z present an unusual opportunity to experience a theatre performance in literary form. This is not a conventional script, partly because the Small Visions performances are fundamentally improvised. Their only tangible trace is a camera recording in which the characters of the Professor and the Doctor are presented to internet viewers. Pedro Inka selected these messages and transformed them into written form in his own authorial way, quietly becoming the third performer. The resulting text is further brought to life by numerous photographs by Oswald Schorm, which also give readers a more visual sense of the performance. The thread of the narrative rises high enough to provide sufficient perspective while winding deep enough to offer complete immersion in the situations presented. At times, the events can be viewed across a broad horizon; at others, sharp insights reach directly into the macrocosm of the participating beings. This approach gently invites readers to question and lightly dismantle established conventions.
