The main character of the book is a thirteen-year-old Czech boy with a Tibetan name, Taši. In early childhood, he was often alone – his mother perpetually in Tibet, his father in theaters. He drew and wrote comics. In 2008, his parents took him to Indian Ladakh, known as Little Tibet, during the summer. Before the trip, his father bought him a hardcover notebook, which Taši filled with drawings and writings. Taši's travel diary is the beginning of this coming-of-age story about a journey to an unknown land with a remarkable culture and landscape. At the most sensitive age of early puberty, he found himself not only in a completely foreign environment but also at a crossroads, as alongside his Buddhist-oriented mother appeared his father's friend and former punk, Jarda, whose life approach provokes Taši. Although Buddhism and punk do not stand against each other, beneath the surface of this travelogue for boys, girls, and their parents, an unobtrusive battle for the child's soul unfolds...
