Description

The author worked as a researcher at St. Petersburg University, where he also developed his own theory of ethnogenesis. In its spirit, he processed his grand work From Russia to Russia: An Outline of Ethnic History from 1992, which describes the history of all state formations that have emerged over the last two thousand years in the territory of present-day Russia. For us, this work is interesting and thought-provoking, as it provides a Russian perspective on the historical relationship of Russian state formations to the Abendland, the Christian civilization of the West, to the Middle Empire, the Chinese civilization of the East, and to the Orient, the Islamic civilization in Central Asia. The reader thus follows two lines of the book: the historical narrative itself and the author's effort to impose some order on this mass of historical events based on the interpretation of his theory of ethnic history. We publish in collaboration with the Dauphin publishing house.
