Jakub Kujan (1983) was born in Most. After finishing his secondary technical school in construction, he lived in Prague for two years. He then studied art history, philosophy, and history in Ústí nad Labem. Since 2001, he played in the punk band Linka 23 and later switched to the jazz-rock band Tesilové vlny. Since the age of 26, he has been dedicated to writing poetry and short prose. His publishing was not particularly notable. He presented his first attempts at poetry in the online magazine Divoké víno, in Mirka Kovářík's show Zelené peří, and in the magazine Host. He then went silent for several years. He currently lives in Litvínov and works as a laborer. This is his first book. 1 Your beauty has offended many women. He said it so that only her smile on the beer glass could hear him.
