There, on the day of the thousandth anniversary of Wenceslas's death, not only Vrchlický, Čech, and Neruda, Světlá, Pittnerová, and Kosmák stand in the crowd of congratulators, but also Jan Hus and Jan Ámos Komenský. And from that small country in the middle of Europe, despite the traditional Czech discord and envy, the famous hymn resounds: Nedej zahynouti nám ni budoucím!
