Description
Vlastimil Třešňák, a man of many trades and a well-known pentathlete (singer, songwriter, painter, writer, and photographer), has given his fans an unexpected gift - the first in a series of Hemp Fairy Tales. These tales do not take place beyond nine rivers and nine mountains, but rather in the Prague district of Hlubočepy and its surroundings. There is no princess, dragon, or kingdom; the well-known bard would certainly not waste time on something so ordinary and clichéd! His fairy tales belong to the unconventional ones, where the plot is not really significant, the range of characters is more than colorful, and you will certainly not manage to grasp the connections. The author's imagination is boundless and lures the reader into the story, but soon diverts elsewhere, indulging in the tale, the place, the situation, only to continue completely elsewhere and in entirely different contexts. Characters appear on stage as the author calls them, gently nudges them, or conversely, wraps them in tar and feathers, making way for others, whether necessary for the plot or not. Parents may sometimes feel lost, unable to keep up, or conversely, succumb to the storytelling so much that they will live the story forgetting everything that was on the previous page; the child’s mind - not limited by age - will be thrilled. In conclusion, perhaps just an important warning - as is said in today's legends and myths, if anything should happen to anyone or anything...
