The starting idea of this monograph was to present the issue of abnormalities in calcium phosphate metabolism and bone complications in chronic kidney disease from a broader perspective, i.e., not only in the context affecting adults with chronic nephropathy and post-kidney transplant, but also its status in children and adolescents similarly affected. Attention was also paid to several scientific fields thematically related in certain aspects. The publication is divided into 20 separate chapters.
