Description
The extensive collection of a lifetime's poetic work by the well-known Czech singer-songwriter presents Hutka's poetic diary from 1965 to the 1990s. In his poems, Hutka is more open, harsher, but also more vulnerable than in his song lyrics. From the verses of youthful beatnik revolt in the late 1960s, we traverse the grim times of the 1970s with Hutka, leading up to the peak poems of the cycles Koryta krve and Galície from Hutka's Dutch exile. In the 1990s, back in his homeland, Jaroslav Hutka writes the collection Hořký déšť and the concluding Cesta k prameni. The book is complemented by unique photographs and a detailed editorial note.
