The monograph by our leading experts in the field of orthopedics summarizes current opinions, both European and worldwide, on revision surgeries of the hip joint, along with the authors' personal perspectives on this issue. The first part of the publication is dedicated to surgical approaches in both primary and revision surgeries of hip joint endoprostheses, and the materials used, highlighting their advantages and disadvantages. The authors further present cementing techniques, the radiographic classifications used for loosened total endoprostheses, and familiarize readers with the preoperative examination of the patient before reimplantation of the total endoprosthesis and preoperative planning concerning the type and size of components to correct unequal limb lengths. A significant chapter discusses the use of bone grafts in revision surgeries of total endoprostheses.
