Between 2000 and 2002, the 1st Faculty of Medicine of Charles University organized interesting discussions with prominent personalities of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at its Academic Club in Faust's House in Prague, at the initiative of Dean Prof. MUDr. Štěpán Svačina, DrSc. The main ideas from these meetings and the atmosphere of the discussions were captured by the author of this book, Mgr. Jaroslav Hořejší. Readers now have the opportunity to be convinced of the significant contribution of such events and to get acquainted with some personalities from the mentioned institutions.
