Ota Gregor (* 1916) Czech physician, participant in the foreign resistance, internist - gastroenterologist, professor of internal medicine, co-creator of the Czech psychosomatic school in our post-war medicine, author of numerous popular science publications, chairman of the editorial board of Galén publishing house, recipient of numerous state honors and professional awards, holder of the J. E. Purkyně Award. From the foreword by Professor MUDr. Jaroslav Blahoš, DrSc.: We are grateful to Ota Gregor for proving that biological age does not necessarily leave a mark on the face and mind. Those young colleagues who look at us indulgently as fossil specimens must see in him proof of their deep error. Thus, he protects us against age discrimination and additionally shows the younger generation the direction to go, how quickly to go, with whom to go, and where to go to achieve such kalokagatia as he embodies. We thank him that his clinic at the hospital Pod Petřínem, which has long since ceased to exist, continues to live on in his collaborators and students, nurses.
