Sestry z Berlína 3 - Dny nadějí – Riebeová Brigitte (2026)

In divided Berlin in 1958, the differences between the prosperous, free West and the tightly controlled East grow ever deeper. The youngest Thalheim sister, Flori, an ambitious rebel with a fragile soul, returns from Paris after sixteen months away from her family. She has empty pockets and an overwhelming desire to paint. How will her family receive her, and will she be allowed to study at an art academy? Although the Thalheim fashion house is thriving, Flori cannot imagine a life tied to the family business. Her cousin Gregor and his partner Hott welcome her home, but the struggle to achieve her ambitions proves difficult, complicating both family relationships and her personal relationships with men. Flori searches tirelessly for shapes, colours, love and her own identity. Over the next five years, petticoats give way to casual clothing, rock and roll is replaced by the twist, and Elvis Presley is overshadowed by The Beatles. Which of Flori’s dreams will come true as an impenetrable wall rises in Berlin and John F. Kennedy delivers his most famous speech there? The contents are in Czech.
