Description
In this delicate story framed as memories of childhood and adolescence, we follow the main character from the age of six to the period of formal adulthood. Julius grows up as an only child in a dysfunctional family marked by conflicts between his parents and other issues. The complicated reality is absorbed by the boy through daydreaming and is also overcome thanks to his friendship with the same-aged Sylva, which was sealed in kindergarten by a play kitchen. Serious themes of relationships, loss of loved ones, coming of age, and the search for identity are interwoven by Lupták with gentle and original humor, addressing universal questions of love and self-acceptance.
