Television presenter Rey Koranteng, footballer Theo Gebre Selassie, philanthropist and presenter Lejla Abbasová, writer Tomáš Zmeškal, choreographer and dancer Yemi A. D., sinologist Martin Kříž, writer and numerologist Monika Ben Thabetová, television presenter Zuzana Tvarůžková, and singer Madalena Joao were all sought out by Obonete S. Ubam to ask them about their childhood and adolescence. The author of the successful book Seven Years in Africa wanted to compare his own experiences with those of his peers who, although they grew up in the Czech basin, like the author himself, had a different skin color. Thus, a collection of interviews titled Our Black and White World was created, offering a perspective on the local environment from an angle that Czech society has so far lacked.
