Jan Wood, chlapec, který zasadil strom – Vodrážková Iva (2017)

A mythical story from the deep past of Australia. Half myth, half true story. Its beginning lies somewhere in the deep past of distant Australia. Its original inhabitants had to retreat before the colonizers to the arid parts of the island, but they did not give up their customs and rituals. Mysterious signs lead a young couple, Anna and Mark, immigrants from England, to sacred places. What might seem like a coincidence is a carefully crafted secret plan: Anna is named the guardian of the trees and is given a wooden figurine of a child. To her surprise, the figurine comes to life! Anna and Mark take the boy as their own and name him Jan Wood. However, the influence of unknown forces cannot be resisted, and they lead Jan Wood on a long adventurous journey...
