Description
The workbook is characterized by a strong focus on application tasks. It includes exercises where students get to know decimal numbers that they encounter daily in everyday life; they learn to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide by 10 and 100, round them, and finally, also represent them on a number line. In practical tasks, they practice the material discussed through real-life examples. The workbook also includes an overview of financial literacy issues – students are introduced to managing financial resources (shopping), learning to navigate advertising offers and how to effectively use the knowledge gained.
