The ECHO 2 teaching set is designed for students in the 2nd stage of primary schools and lower gymnasiums. The textbook presents modern methods of learning a foreign language, such as project-based tasks, inductive grammar teaching, or exercises where information is searched for on the internet. It is divided into 7 lessons. Each lesson contains various types of exercises that develop basic language skills. Through our publications, students will gain abilities that they can apply in everyday communication situations, such as at the doctor's, in a shop, at a ticket office, or in a restaurant. They will also learn to obtain and provide information related to, for example, describing a journey, time, tourist attractions in Moscow, or traditional Russian cuisine. They will talk about holidays, studying foreign languages in foreign courses, teenage fashion, a healthy lifestyle, the dangers of prolonged sitting at a computer, health, and sports. At the end of each lesson, there is a review section that helps students assess their level of knowledge achieved and also prepares them for tests.
