The Ethical Education textbook offers an explanation of basic concepts and their practice in one book. Ethical education primarily employs experiential methods and learning by reinforcing desirable behavior. The intention is to form one's own opinion on the given topic and to adopt appropriate attitudes. The fundamental goal of ethical education is to guide students towards prosocial behavior, i.e., the ability to do something good for others without expecting external rewards or reciprocation. If a student adopts prosocial attitudes and behavior, they are likely to grow into a character-driven person. Ethical education is also a very effective tool for preventing bullying and other socially pathological phenomena. The textbook contains 10 topics consisting of 3 parts, each covering one lesson (1st lesson working with a story, 2nd lesson working with a video, 3rd lesson project). In the individual lessons, students become acquainted with basic ethical values and moral norms. They learn to manage the basics of verbal and non-verbal communication, to formulate positions accurately and clearly, to respond appropriately to justified and unjustified criticism, and to prevent manipulation. For the development of a healthy personality, self-awareness and understanding of one's strengths are important.
