Description
The reader is composed as a selective collection, predominantly featuring prose texts, with drama and lyrical poetry also represented. The reader contains a minimum of metatexts; themes for interpretative analysis are included in the Teacher's Handbook. The reader also includes a glossary of basic literary terms. From the seventh grade onwards, a chronological overview of authors is included, and a detailed glossary of authors is available on the publisher's website for both teachers and students. Following the thematic units, there is a special block titled Searching for Connections, which contains elements of external integration, references to other primarily aesthetic education subjects. Together with the established cultural and historical context, this block allows for the search and finding of relationships. The Searching for Connections block is always followed by a block titled You Can Read, which brings suggestions for further reading for children. The textbooks are organically supplemented with texts on the publisher's website. The reader is divided into a basic part and a so-called strip. The information on the strip is primarily oriented towards the aesthetic and contextual impact on the student.
