The workbook provides a systematic approach to teaching EEV and offers a unified framework and meaningful approach regarding the selection of topics, methods, and forms of teaching. The concept is based on the recommended expected outcomes (DOV) for the thematic areas of the cross-cutting topic of Environmental Education. It builds on themes essential for the development of responsible environmental behavior: the relationship to one's surroundings, research skills, competencies for engaging in solving environmental problems, and more. It leads to discussions about students' attitudes and values. The workbook includes 13 thematic areas, each based on a model situation close to the students' everyday lives. The workbook engages students in the issues, allows them to recap their existing knowledge and experiences, provides them with new information, encourages them to think, and gives them space to form their own opinions. Students can write not only solutions to tasks in the workbook but also their thoughts and observations. A methodological guide is part of the Ecological and Environmental Education package, which helps teachers specify the knowledge and skills, attitudes, and values that students should acquire through the individual topics.
