Description
This guitar playing school is designed for beginners and advanced players and is suitable for both music school students and self-taught individuals. In the first part, you will gain basic information about tuning, holding the guitar, hand positioning while playing, and basic strumming techniques. You will learn the necessary chords and a variety of songs with simple accompaniments, all without sheet music. In the second part, you will gradually become familiar with basic music theory concepts, learn basic barre chords, and the system for finding them on the fretboard. You will also try many other accompaniment methods – on various folk songs, spirituals, as well as works by Suchý and Šlitr, The Beatles, Paul Simon, and others. At the end of the course, you will briefly delve into the issue of playing with a pick and learn a twelve-bar scheme, which is the foundation for blues and rock and roll.
