The textbook is the third in a series of textbooks for teaching the Czech language in grades 2-5 of elementary school. It contains elements leading to the achievement of all key competencies, including social and personal competencies, civic competencies, and problem-solving competencies. In addition to language content, the textbook places great emphasis on the development of communication skills. The textbook integrates language, communication, and stylistic education – elements of style are included in the language chapters and vice versa. Simplified elements of media education are also present. A workbook is published alongside the textbook. Content: word study, spelling, listed words, parts of speech, nouns and their declension, verbs, sentence structure, compound sentences and their structure, direct and indirect speech.
