Description
This Czech-language music education textbook for the ninth year of primary school forms part of a comprehensive series for the second stage of primary education. The series aims to foster pupils’ positive relationship with music, especially singing and active listening, as well as movement activities related to music and playing musical instruments. The textbooks also introduce elements of music theory, interesting facts about composers’ lives and other activities connected with music. They follow current curricular documents, develop the competencies specified by the Czech Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and have approval from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The textbooks are complemented by compact discs featuring engaging recordings of both classical and modern music.
