Description
This Czech-language music education textbook forms part of a complete series for the second stage of primary school. It aims to develop pupils’ positive relationship with music, especially singing and active listening, as well as movement activities and playing musical instruments. Pupils also learn about music theory, discover interesting facts from the lives of composers and explore other activities connected with music. The textbooks follow current curriculum documents and develop the competencies specified by the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. They have received approval from the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The textbooks are complemented by compact discs featuring engaging recordings of classical and modern music, which are not included with the textbook.
