Description
The third in a series of history textbooks for high schools – it will primarily be used in gymnasiums, but also in other types of schools, as the basic explanation is graphically distinguished from the supplementary text in the textbooks. Given the curriculum layout with an emphasis on modern history, it also allows for good preparation for university. The strength of the series is its lack of overload with facts and, above all, the parallel presentation of world and Czech history from ancient times to the present. The textbooks contain rich visual material, numerous historical maps, and appropriate didactic apparatus. The Near East? Egypt? Ancient Greece? Ancient Rome? India? China?
