Description
The first in a series of history textbooks for high schools and secondary schools – primarily applicable in gymnasiums, but also in other types of schools, as the basic explanation is graphically distinguished from the supplementary text in the textbooks. Given the curriculum layout with an emphasis on modern history, it also allows for good preparation for university. A strength of the series is its avoidance of overwhelming students with facts and, above all, the parallel presentation of world and Czech history from ancient times to the present.
