Description
The textbook is the first part of a new series of natural science textbooks for the second stage of elementary school, or for lower grades of multi-year gymnasiums. The textbook presents a breakdown of key competencies and outcomes from working with it. It includes the curriculum of zoology and botany in two separate parts: the first half of the textbook is dedicated to zoology, while the second part focuses on botany. The curriculum on higher animals and plants will be completed in the prepared textbook for the 7th grade. Special attention has been paid to the practical orientation of the curriculum, the visual equipment of the textbook, interdisciplinary relationships, and the preparation of tasks for laboratory work.
