Description
This textbook is intended for elementary school students who are starting to learn English in the third grade. With its help, students will master the basics of correct pronunciation, learn interesting facts about the countries where English is spoken, learn several rhymes, songs, and acquire basic vocabulary that they will use in their studies in the following years. The textbook is accompanied by a workbook, recordings of vocabulary, conversations, rhymes, and songs on CD, playing cards – quartets – for practicing vocabulary and conversations, and a methodological book for teachers. For teaching in subsequent grades, any textbook series can be used. However, the optimal continuity is provided by "English for 4th to 9th Grade of Elementary School" (M. Zahálková). All these textbooks are suitable for use within the RVP and other educational programs.
