The topic of the last volume in our series of physics textbooks is nuclear physics. The author clearly and in broader contexts explains the structure of matter, reflects on the significance of nuclear reactions occurring in the universe, clarifies the essence of radioactive decay, and the principles of how a nuclear power plant operates. The textbook concludes with unconventional chapters on Physics and Technology and Nature Around Us, which convey the world of natural phenomena to students through lively and engaging storytelling. The explanatory text is supplemented with illustrative experiments and solved numerical problems. The textbook is enriched with a wealth of visual aids and illustrations by Tomáš Kopřiva. Instead of the usual separate workbook edition, the textbook includes a collection of problems. The commented version of the textbook contains methodological notes 'printed' into the student publication. The teacher has access to the same publication as the student, but significantly enriched with additional information, didactic alerts, answers to questions, references to other sources of information, and related topics in other textbooks published by Prodos.
