The textbook thematically follows the title Natural Science 6 – The Evolution of Life on Earth, General Biology, Biology of Fungi. Its form and attractive graphic design represent a change in the approach to teaching the educational area of Man and Nature. On clearly structured double pages, it introduces students to the plant kingdom, specifically to algae, mosses, clubmosses, horsetails, ferns, gymnosperms, and especially angiosperms. The publication is characterized primarily by: • a coherent and clearly structured text, • engaging and above-standard visual accompaniment (including over 300 photographs, diagrams, and illustrations) and attractive graphic design, • motivational and activating elements that develop independent thinking and creativity in students. The natural science material in the textbook is interconnected with knowledge from physics, chemistry, geography, history, and other fields. The processing emphasizes the development of independent thinking and the ability to draw one's own conclusions from the presented information. This goal is also served by a collection of interesting supplementary texts focused on the practical significance of natural science knowledge for everyday life.
