Description
The revised Czech language textbook for the 5th grade focuses more on the modern understanding of the world of children and adults. In accordance with the concept of cross-cutting themes, the textbook includes texts, exercises, and tasks emphasizing multiculturalism, ecology, and education aimed at building individual attitudes and values, both as individuals and as members of society, at the level of the homeland, Europe, and the entire world. By strengthening communicatively focused tasks, interdisciplinary connections with the curriculum in the area of 'Man and His World' have been highlighted, ultimately leading to the achievement of expected outcomes in both areas and the smooth building and development of key competencies.
