Description
Marcela is a widow and, in the last five years without her husband, she has increasingly felt lonely. Through an advertisement, she meets Robert, and after their first meeting, she feels that he might fulfill everything she expects from a man. At the same time, she discovers that he has been struck by a series of life blows that he is still struggling to cope with. It is a difficult and unusual situation for her. She tries to trust him and help him, but unbeknownst to her, her hesitance, combined with caution, plays a certain role in their relationship. Each of them has their dilemma, and both suddenly find themselves faced with the necessity of important decisions. Robert, who also encounters resistance from the surrounding society, must confront an unexpected enemy that he had not accounted for in his plans. The novel is a loose continuation of the prose "Beyond the Horizon, Another World," published in 2016.
