Description
I inherited my love for literature from my mother. At the age of seventeen, I began writing a diary, and through daily writing, I gradually developed my style. Since I was twenty-five, I have been writing my "works," which I published under the title Palette of Moods (1994) at a publishing house in Beroun. Even before that, some of my short stories were published in Prague newspapers. I tried to ensure that my "works" were diverse, that the themes did not repeat. Some are the product of my imagination, while in others, I captured what I experienced and further developed it according to my thoughts into its final form. But I was still reading and searching for a book with a capital B. I found it in the philosophy of the Chinese master LAO-ZI. In the writing process, I lean on the insights I have found and the layering of truths that I have arrived at myself and could "feel with my own hands." I must also mention my pseudonym František Bor. I chose František when I was reading a book about the French poet François Villon, and I liked the Czech version František. Bor (or forest) has been, is, and will continue to be my inspiration.
