Description
The book 'Lambs with a Banner' interestingly introduces us to significant events in our history that are not as well-known as, for example, the history of the Hussites or the national revival. The author records nearly five hundred years of our history in a fresh, engaging journalistic style, inviting readers on a winding journey through the lesser-remembered paths of the Czech Brethren. It begins in the pre-Hussite era and ends with the Toleration Patent in 1781. The intended goal of the book is to reach all readers interested in our history with a message for the future, as well as students and their teachers. We may be a small but great nation, the author says through her work. Let us be convinced that she is right, even regarding history. The book contains a large number of photographs.
