The author graduated from the Film Academy of Performing Arts; in addition to poetry, he also writes plays. His latest collection, Signs or Preaching to Fish, can be classified within the stream or among the proclaimers of what is today called traditional values. He considers them the cornerstones of meaningful human lives, the center of European culture. He speaks out against their destruction, yet he discusses them in contemporary, civil language. He rejects various fashionable tricks that seem attractive to many. Jiří Tuček does not write for such people. His readers are sensitive, emotional, genuine, and constructive. And they enjoy his poems.
