Description
The author of this book of poems for children has been accompanied since childhood by a very loving relationship with nature, people, and especially children, which was the driving force behind her becoming someone who helps them – a pediatrician. She was born and raised in Brno, where she later studied at both high school and the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University. She utilized her rich medical experience gained at the Vyškov hospital in the form of a second specialization in cardiology and in opening a private practice as a general practitioner for children in Mokrá. She successfully raised two sons and now enjoys the role of a double grandmother. Her love for versifying could finally fully blossom in the form of rhymes and poems created for her granddaughter Valerie's fourth birthday. The book will certainly appeal not only to children and parents, but the illustrations will especially delight the eyes of curious children.
