Many works have been published on the topic of military uniforms of the Austrian army, but not so many when we realize how significant a role this multinational empire played in Europe at the time. The lands of the Crown of Bohemia were a substantial economic and military part of this vast empire. Throughout its history, tens of thousands of men from the lands of the Crown of Bohemia served in the ranks of their armies. In this publication, we provide insight into the development of uniforms and attire, presenting a selection of some of them with an emphasis on their shape and appearance, even in detail. For both experts and the general public interested in history, this publication can serve as an interesting and supplementary visual material. The publication contains over 400 large full-color figures spanning a period of 300 years.
