Přírodopis - Zoologie - učebnice pro praktické ZŠ (2026)

This Czech-language zoology textbook is part of a comprehensive series of biology textbooks and workbooks developed according to the Framework Educational Programme for basic education and intended for pupils receiving support measures. The materials can be used in any year of the second stage of primary school, in accordance with the relevant school and individual educational programmes. Pupils gradually learn about all groups of animals, from simpler organisms such as flatworms, roundworms, molluscs, annelids and arthropods to the most advanced vertebrates, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Each group is introduced through a detailed study of a representative’s anatomy and physiology, followed by an explanation of other important representatives in relation to their living conditions. The final section covers human influences on animals and animal protection, with a brief chapter on animal communication and behaviour. The material is supplemented with numerous informative photographs, diagrams and illustrations by academic painter Andrea Korbelářová. Extended material is marked with a light background, and each chapter ends with questions and exercises for practising and consolidating the subject matter, including suggestions for practical activities.
