Description
The book is the first joint textbook of sign language for preschool children and their parents. It contains over 700 basic terms. Each term is expressed with a colorful illustration, a word, and a drawing of the hand position for signing. The author guides parents step by step and provides them with instructions on how to communicate with their deaf child, how to build their speech, develop their thinking, and strengthen their mutual relationship. It is illustrated by the academic painter Věra Faltová, and the drawings of the signs are by Jan Žampach. The book includes a memory game.
