Description
The textbook is developed according to the Framework Educational Program for Basic Education – annexes regulating the education of students with mild intellectual disabilities. It includes the following chapters: Structure of Higher Plant Bodies, Functions of Plant Bodies, Plant Systems, Economically Significant Plants, Protected Plants of Our Nature, and the Expansion and Development of Plants on Earth and in the Czech Republic. The curriculum is supplemented with a large number of illustrative images, diagrams, and photographs. Supplementary material is marked with a light background, and at the end of each chapter, there are questions and tasks that teachers can use with students for practice and reinforcement of the material, including suggestions for practical activities.
