Description
This Czech-language physics textbook is part of a comprehensive series of textbooks and workbooks based on the Czech Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and intended for pupils with special educational needs, specifically mild intellectual disabilities. The materials can be used in any year of the second stage of primary school in accordance with the relevant school and individual educational programmes. The second part of the seventh-year course covers forces, including combining forces, inertia, Newton’s law and simple machines; the mechanical properties of fluids, including density, pressure in liquids, buoyancy, atmospheric pressure and hydraulic machines; and sound phenomena, including the production and transmission of sound, musical instruments, units of loudness and protection from noise. The subject matter is connected with everyday life and supported by clear illustrations, while each chapter is followed by practical examples and exercises.
