Description
This workbook is part of a set of new teaching materials for the language and language communication educational area, specifically foreign-language education. It follows the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education and is intended for pupils with special educational needs, specifically pupils with mild intellectual disabilities. The materials focus on learning simple messages and the basics of communication in everyday situations. Rich illustrations motivate pupils to cooperate and make the subject matter easier to understand; the illustrations are by Miroslava Jakešová. The set consists of a textbook, workbook, English-Czech/Czech-English dictionary, practice dictionary and methodological guide. For each textbook lesson, the workbook contains eight exercises for practising, reviewing, reinforcing and assessing the knowledge acquired. It also includes motivating crosswords, riddles and puzzles. The contents are in Czech.
