The publication discusses the basic issues of integrating visually impaired children into regular schools. It introduces teachers to specific approaches and methods for working with visually impaired children and provides information about the most important special aids. It explains the significance and possibilities of collaboration between teachers and special educational centers, and also emphasizes the importance of cooperation with the parents of affected children. Approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports: Approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic on January 18, 1996, under ref. no. 11 142/96-24 as a methodological guide for teachers.
