Description
A small American special operations unit witnessed the shooting down of two Russian Hind helicopters over northern Syria. The survivor – the Russian president and his entourage with a briefcase containing the authorization codes for launching Russian nuclear weapons – is captured by the last remaining and most feared ISIS commander known as Scorpion. And these missiles are still primarily aimed at American cities. With the briefcase in his possession, Scorpion is declared the Mahdi, the last caliph from the apocalyptic legends in the Quran, who will defeat the West and usher in the End of Days, when the dead will rise from their graves and walk the earth. While millions of Muslims gather under Scorpion's black flag and it seems that corpses are already leaving their graves, only this lone special operations unit can prevent the looming catastrophe. However, it is commanded by Major Vin Cooper, who is now on reserve and is fed up with saving the world.
