The first volume of a three-part mathematics textbook is intended for two-year and three-year vocational courses. Material included additionally for the three-year courses is graphically marked for easy reference. The book focuses on applying and deepening primary-school knowledge, with emphasis on practical use and an appropriate level of numerical fluency. Considerable attention is devoted to working with a calculator. Each chapter ends with a review and a test. The textbook contains extensive practice material, including approximately 500 exercises and 150 problems solved in detail. The contents are in Czech.
