Description
The textbook is part of a series of mathematics textbooks developed according to the RVP. It focuses on geometry, theorems about the congruence of triangles and their application in triangle construction; central symmetry; quadrilaterals, especially parallelograms and trapezoids; prisms, their nets, surfaces, and volumes. The exercises have been updated (currency in payment for purchases, price levels). A number of new tasks have been included that demonstrate the importance of mathematical knowledge for life and encourage students to complete various tasks and seek information. Non-standard application tasks and problems have been strengthened (e.g., development of geometric imagination, combinatorial tasks). Many tasks lead to reflection on issues related to the environment (e.g., energy-saving bulbs, smoking). The textbook is colorful, featuring photographs of real objects and situations, as well as humorous and motivating colorful illustrations.
